Eddie Cochran bought his electric guitar in 1955 with 16 years, a Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins hollow-body Orange acquired in the Gardens Music Center of Bell Gardens, CA. Later hits like Summertime Blues, Twenty Flight Rock, C ‘mon Everybody, Somethin’ Else, Nervous Breakdown and Sittin’ or the Balcony were created and played with this guitar, songs that would influence a whole generation of guitarists.
