Over the years, the Gibson Custom Shop has exceeded our wildest expectations by delivering incredible historically-accurate Les Pauls that get closer and closer to the original instruments they’re paying tribute to. The Gibson Custom Shop has upped their game tremendously by utilizing all hide glue construction, analine dye, and historically accurate plastics to create new instruments that rival our favorite vintage treasures in tone, feel and vibe. It’s been over 14 years since the Gibson Custom Shop has produced a Brazilian rosewood guitar. Scarcity, quality and production concerns prevented this cherished tone wood from making an appearance…until now. The Gibson Custom Shop was recently able to procure a batch of truly exceptional Brazilian rosewood, and decided to incorporate these boards into an extremely limited run of historic Les Pauls. Well, the wait is over  and the Gibson Custom Shop is pleased to present an extremely limited run of instruments that bridges the gap between these modern recreations and their vintage counterparts.The Gibson Custom Shop will produce an extremely limited run of instruments featuring hand-selected figured maple tops and ultra-dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboards,  that  will provide Gibson enthusiasts with the ultimate Les Paul experience.
