Very few black Les Paul Junior Double Cutaways were made in 1959 and even fewer exist today. Collector’s Choice #19 is the first Les Paul Junior to be offered in the series and is based on one of the finest of its kind we’ve seen. It breaths that unmistakable P-90 tone and embodies the trademark feel and Spartan aesthetic that emerged from Gibson’s intent to offer an entry level model that delivered uncompromised performance.
With the fast-playing, comfortable feel of a guitar that’s seen more than a few stages, the Custom Shop 1960 Relic Stratocaster unites authentic vintage style and sound with contemporary features. The lightweight two-piece select alder body bears a color-over-color paint scheme, finished with nitrocellulose lacquer to let the wood breathe with pure Fender tone, while the tinted quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable “Oval C”-shaped profile, and wears the same Heavy Relic finish as the body.
The trio of hand-wound 60/63 Strat pickups includes a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup, reducing RF- and EMI-induced hum in positions two and four. A five-way switch and modified wiring—including a Tone-Saver treble-bleed circuit—selects pickups in almost any combination while preserving your tone, no matter where the instrument’s volume is set.
Other phenomenal features include a comfortably modern 9.5”-radius slab rosewood fingerboard, 21 Jescar 6100 jumbo frets, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo, bone nut and wing string tree with metal spacer. Includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap and Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity.

A period-correct archtop for the discerning player
The ES-175 has long been the world’s most popular jazz guitar, and the 2016 1959 ES-175D from Gibson Memphis captures the most desirable incarnation in its truest form.
The sound waves resonate within the hollow airspace of the Maple veneered Body, around the F-holes, and throughout the solid glue joints.

application
Warm, moderate-output humbucker. Great for jazz, blues, classic rock and slide.
description
The Alnico 2 magnet and moderate windings yield a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. Classic rock players who get their distortion from the amp rather than the pickup love the APH-1. It allows them to back off the crunch and get beautiful clean tones with softer attack. Compared to the ’59, the Alnico II Pro has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable and no logo.
complete setup
Often the APH-1 is used in both neck and bridge positions. Or, in the neck with a higher output pickup like an SH-11 Custom Custom or SHPG-1b Pearly Gates for heavier rock or hotter blues sounds from the bridge position.
guitars
For brighter toned instruments. Works especially well with maple and ebony fingerboards. Also works great with hollow and semi-hollow body guitars.
players
Slash / Velvet Revolver & Guns ‘N Roses (neck & bridge), Michael Wilton / Queensryche (bridge), Jeff Tamelier / Tower of Power (neck), Tim Mahoney / 311 (neck), Troy Van Leeuwen / Queens of the Stone Age (neck)

A hybrid case for 2 guitars. The first of its kind.
A second guitar is a must-have on stage or in the studio. But in transit, carrying two bass guitars has always been a necessary evil. We set out to design an elegant solution to this problem. Our driving criteria was to offer each guitar the same protection as our single M80 hybrid case. After a year of prototyping, the Z-form™ design was perfected (patents pending). The end result is an incredibly light weight, extremely rugged double hybrid case. A first of its kind. Go play. Dimensions
360° Protection
Drop-proof
The patented Headlock™ design provides a level of protection worthy of the finest instruments. Your guitars quickly strap in and remains stabilized during transport. Both headstocks are suspended inside the case, saving your guitars from both side and rear impacts that could otherwise snap the necks.
Strap pin protection
Hi-density foam bumpers divert vertical impact out and around the case, away from the strap pin.
Impact deflection
Integral ABS panels deliver hardcase protection at a fraction of the weight. The reinforced outer shell of the M80 hybrid case absorbs and deflects hard imact away from the vulnerable areas of the guitar.
Smart Storage
One or 2 guitars
This patented “zig zag” design creates a completely separate case for each guitar. That means both headstocks are protected with our Headlock™ suspension system and strap pin bumpers. It also means the M80 Dual can be used with 1 or 2 guitars – something you’ll appreciate on the road. Additionally, the Z-form design allows for immediate access to either guitar.
CLip/tuck straps
Padded shoulder straps feature steel rivet reinforcement. Quickly stash one or both shoulder straps on-the-fly.
Tick-ready
M80 cases come equipped with the triple D-ring attachments required for the optional Guitar Tick™, the modular tool case designed to extend the storage capacity of your guitar case. The Guitar Tick seamlessly and securely attaches to the M80 guitar case as shown.*
Plug and play
Everything in its place. Specialized storage compartments put your gear right where you need it. Deep gussets make sure your small items stay put.
Secret stash
The hidden upper pocket keeps your wallet, keys, and cell concealed on that subway ride.
Picks at the ready
The Headlock™ features a clear window pick pocket to keep a variety of picks on hand.
Built to last
Wear it out
We build our cases to military specs, using only high-test materials with extreme resistance to abrasion and the elements. Inside, the plush lining protects delicate custom finishes. So your guitar rides first class while you launch an urban assault.
RIVETED HANDLE
Rock solid, industrial webbing handles come standard on MONO cases. Bar-tack stitching and steel rivets reinforce for strength, while high grade webbing provides a super comfortable grip.
DOUBLE STEEL ZIPPERS
Powder-coated steel zipper pulls with self-healing nylon zippers are standard on all compartments. Double zippers also double the lifespan of each pocket.
HYPALON SOLE
All M80 cases feature a hard-wearing sole and piping made of Hypalon – the same industrial rubber used to create inflatable military rafts. This sole simply does not wear out.
Dimensions & fitting
Like a glove
These measurements represent the inner capacity of the case. If you are unsure about the fit for your guitar, make sure it does not exceed any of the maximum dimensions shown just to be safe. This case is designed to fit two standard body electric guitars including Fenders like Teles and Strats, Gibsons like Les Pauls and SGs, Ibanez, ESP and many others.

The patented Headlock™ design provides a level of protection worthy of the finest instruments. Your guitar quickly straps in and remains stabilized during transport. The headstock is suspended inside the case, saving the guitar from both side and rear impacts that could otherwise snap the neck. Extensive testing reveals that “Hardcase protection” is a myth, as the Headlock™- equipped M80 outperforms traditional wood and plastic hard cases in every way.
Strap pin protection
Hi-density foam bumpers divert vertical impact out and around the lower bout of the guitar, away from the strap pin.
Impact deflection
Integral ABS panels deliver hardcase protection at a fraction of the weight. (MONO cases weigh in at about 75% less than their hardcase counterparts.) The reinforced outer shell of the M80 hybrid case absorbs and deflects hard imact away from the vulnerable areas of the guitar.
