SOLD GUILD AMERICAN PATRIARCH M 75 C.SHOP

Guild American Patriarch M-75 Aristocrat 2014 Sunburst

For those who do not know this model, it is a remake of the 1950’s early 1960’s Guild M-75 Aristocrat guitar which now fetches about $6000 if you can find one from that era.

This guitar is not to be confused with the Korean made Guild M-75 Aristocrat. The American Patriarch Series is made in the United States by Guild’s craftsman in Connecticut. Guild revived their American manufactured American Patriarch Series with the Guild x-500, the Guild American Patriarch M-75 Aristocrat and a few other models just about 2 years ago.
The guitar is a hollow body guitar with no F holes and it has single coil pickups which give it a unique sound. The scale is 24.5 inches with a 1 11/16th inch nut, a custom made wooden bridge which sits on the guitars surface supported by gold plated stands, it has a Guild custom pickguard.

Guild American Patriarch M-75 Aristocrat! This M-75 represents Guild’s best of the best. Hand made in New Hartford, Connecticut, these American Patriarch guitars are crafted from only the highest quality materials. Guild’s uncompromising attention to detail is obvious in every facet of this instrument. The M-75 rings out with the balanced resonance that you feel only on the most precisely built hollow body guitars. Tonally, this guitar is in its own class. It sounds like a cross between a classier, toppier 335 and a slightly less woody 175. The sound is naturally very balanced and rounded – clean, crisp lows, an articulate mid-range and clear highs that never get too treble-happy. Through clean settings, this is the perfect jazz guitar. With a touch of distortion, this guitar totally dominates the competition. You won’t find fatter, richer blues tone on another instrument. The body is a bit smaller than some hollow bodies you might be used to, making it extremely light and easy to play for hours. If you’re looking for the best hand-crafted tone you can find, this Aristocrat needs to be on your radar.
